That's a cute dog, huh?

I grew up in SE Asia - Malaysia and Singapore - live in Denver, Colorado and have been married 33 years, with one son, and that really cute dog.

My passion is helping create content that forges deep emotional bonds between talent and listener. I'm all about the stuff that comes between, and around, all the songs.

It's not that music isn't important; for music stations, playing the right songs, in the right rotations, is where success begins. But it's what happens between the songs that will make your station stand apart and generate real listener loyalty.

I've won major national programming awards, and been privileged to work with the biggest media companies in the US and around the world.

I respect air talent; they have a really tough job. And I've coached #1-ranked Morning Shows from Portland, Oregon to Paris, France.

I am also a certified professional mediator, trained in conflict resolution, with years of practice in active listening. It's a skill set that has helped my company weather the economic storms we've all lived through for the past decade.

My blog is primarily focused on Radio, worldwide, but the theme is always about making deeper emotional connections with our listeners.
